SikaCim® Pink

LIQUID CRYSTALLINE WATERPROOFING COMPOUND FOR CONCRETE, MORTAR AND PLASTER

Specially formulated unique pink coloured liquid integral water proofing compound for concrete, mortar and plaster based on Sika’s technology of special selective polymers, surface active agents and additives.

  • Compatibility - Easily dispersible and compatible with all varieties of Portland Cement including Slag Cement
  • Cohesiveness - Minimizes loss of mortar due to rebound  in plastering jobs, hence great ease of application and saving
  • Economical - Required at a very small dosage
  • Low Permeability - Improves water tightness to a great extent
  • Water Reducer - Helps in reducing the water content
  • Workability - Improves workability without increased water content
  • Shrinkage - Reduced shrinkage cracks in concrete & mortar, better finish

Shelf life

Best before 24 months from date of production if stored properly in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging.

Storage conditions

Store in dry conditions at temperatures between +10°C and +40°C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost.

Recommended dosage

For single use: 100 g for 50 kg bag of cement (0.2% by weight of cement).

For useing with other admixtures: 50 g for 50 kg bag of cement (0.1% by weight of cement).
Application steps

MIXING

  • Charge cement, aggregates and sand for concrete/ cement and sand for mortar and dry mix for 1 minutes
  • Add 50-70 % of required water and mix it for 2-3 minutes
  • Add required quantity of SikaCim® Pink to the remaining water and pour it in the mixing drum and mix the entire quantity for approx. 3 minutes to achieve homogenous mix
  • Pour the mixture on a tray and use as per requirement and lay the concrete
